Cris is currently portraying Peter Madoff (Bernie's brother) in the explosively popular Netflix docuseries Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street,
directed by Oscar nominee Joe Berlinger and released in January of 2023.
Cris's work experience ranges from acting as Michael J. Fox's stand in for his upcoming documentary entitled "Still" (airing on Apple TV in 2023) to playing comical smug professionals (Comedic Reel) on The Adult Swim TV network to a gregarious dystopian store clerk in Trace Me
to a tormented attorney In Investigation Discovery's Grave Secrets (Dramatic Reel).
Cris caught the acting bug when he performed with Seinfeld's Jason Alexander in "Guys and Dolls" at Livingston High School" in 1976.
After raising a family and retiring from his career as a vocal music teacher, Cris announced to his friends and family that he was becoming an actor. After studying at HB studio for a short time, Cris began auditioning in NYC and soon began landing lead roles in several exciting projects.
Over the years, he has studied at UCB, the William Esper Studio as well as the Anthony Meindl Actor Workshop. He also received private coaching with Broadway actor Mark Evans.
Cris loves to play the guitar, perform open mic comedy, travel, play golf and spend time with his family.
